Signature for Appointment Scheduling

The inclusion of the signature when scheduling appointments from desktop Outlook (not OWA or mobile) is now supported.

Disabling Signature on an Ad-hoc Basis

A “Disable Signature” option can now be added to your user’s Dynasend task-pane. This works on a one-time basis for the currently open email message. If the task pane is clicked open and the user clicks “Disable Signature” the signature will be fully removed from the current message. After the message is sent, the signature will automatically return to normal operation for subsequent messages. This FAQ provides further information.

Send Business Cards to Users by Email

We’ve added a “send business card” feature enabling managers to send out notices by email (similar to invites) that prompt users to save their digital business card to their mobile wallets. This FAQ provides further information.

Identify and Prompt “Missing” Users

Now available in the manager’s dashboard (under “links”) is a feature called “Add-in missing signatures”. This is a report of the mailboxes in your organization that have the Dynasend add-in installed but that have not created a signature – in other words, people who are not using the signature. This FAQ provides further information.

Internationalization

We’ve incorporated Internationalization (i18n) into the Dynasend add-in so that it now supports the following languages:

  • en English (generic/international)
  • en-GB English (United Kingdom)
  • es Spanish (generic)
  • fr French
  • sv Swedish
  • nb Norwegian Bokmål
  • fi Finnish
  • da Danish

Limiting the Signature’s Appearance to Once per Thread

We’ve added a user option (in the add-in’s task-pane) to have the signature appear only once per message thread. When this is on, the signature will be displayed in the first message of the thread but will be absent from all subsequent replies.

Note #1: We are not recommending this option – we built it at the request of one specific customer. We do want to let you know that it is available though. Note# 2: This is an account-level setting, so if you would like it activated for your account please contact us and we will enable it.

Dynasend is now a multi-region (US & EU) platform

This means that we can direct the location that data is stored in. EU customers will have their data stored on EU servers, and all other customers will have their data stored on US servers.

To accomplish this, we replaced our signature delivery infrastructure with a global one. Two unanticipated, but positive, side-effects of this were an improved delivery speed of the signature into messages (due to more extensive utilization of cached data) and a significant improvement in performance logs (enabling us to more efficiently identify and respond to problems).

Recent Security Improvements & Verification

We’re also pleased to announce that Dynasend has recently passed an extensive security review (Cloud Application Security Assessment - CASA). This was required of us by Google (as we will soon be releasing Dynasend for Google Workspace). Although we started with a strong security rating, after three scans and some remediation in between each one we achieved a perfect score. The result is that Dynasend is now more secure than ever!
