Registry Settings to Disable Access to Outlook’s Signature Dialog
Step 1: Delete the “First-Run” value from the registry if it exists here:
Outlook 2007:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\12.0\Outlook\Setup\First-Run
Outlook 2010:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\14.0\Outlook\Setup\First-Run
Outlook 2013:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\15.0\Outlook\Setup\First-Run
Step 2: Create this key to lock the New signature template:
Key: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Office\15.0\Common\MailSettings\NewSignature
Value: signature
Data type: REG_SZ
Key Setting Note: Use 12.0 for Outlook 2007, 14.0 for Outlook 2010, or 15.0 for Outlook 2013
Step 3: Create this key to lock the Reply signature template:
Key: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Office\15.0\Common\MailSettings\ReplySignature
Value: signature
Data type: REG_SZ
Key Setting Note: Use 12.0 for Outlook 2007, 14.0 for Outlook 2010, or 15.0 for Outlook 2013
