Android Email Signature Installation Instructions
FAQ’s (These may be helpful AFTER installation)
Part 1 - Copying Your Android Signature to Your Clipboard
Note #1: Forward this page to your Android phone if necessary - you will need to access it from there to continue.
Note #2: Android DOES NOT support the HTML version of your email signature, which means that your logo, social media icons, formatted text, etc., will not show up. The signature that you will be installing here will be the “plain-text” version of your signature.
1. Display your PLAIN TEXT signature:
2. Long-tap a word to select it on a web page or within an entry field.
3. Drag the set of bounding handles to include the amount of text you want to
copy.
4. Tap the selected text again to copy to the clipboard.
Part 2 - Android Email Signature Setup Instructions (See Part 3 for “Gmail App”)
1. Open your Email App.
2. Click Menu.
3. Tap More.
4. Tap Settings.
5. Click on your email address listed in the settings (if you have more than
one, choose the one you want to apply the signature to).
6. Click Signature.
7. Long-tap the entry field where you want to paste the text.
8. Tap Paste.
9. Tap OK - You have just set your signature for that particular email
account in Email.
Part 3 - Android “Gmail App” Signature Setup Instructions
1. Open your Gmail App.
2. Click Menu.
3. Tap More.
4. Tap Settings.
5. Click on your email address listed in the settings (if you have more than
one, choose the one you want to apply the signature to).
6. Click Signature.
7. Long-tap the entry field where you want to paste the text.
8. Tap Paste.
9. Tap OK - You have just set your signature for that particular email
account in Gmail.
